7-Day New Year's Celebration Tour Itinerary: Byron Bay, Australia (December 28, 2024 - January 3, 2025)

Our pricing structure varies according to the season, whether low or high. Availability may cause a slight change in our price. As weekends approach full capacity, expect the last spots to be more expensive.

Lay-by option: (only available if you book within a minimum of 28 days before the trip date)

This option ensures your spot with us without paying the full amount upfront. 

As this is a highly sought-after experience, you can secure your snow trip with a minimum payment of $200.00 and four more instalments, as described below.

$200.00 due 28 days before your pre-scheduled trip;

$200.00 due 21 days before your pre-scheduled trip;

$200.00 due 14 days before your pre-scheduled trip;

100% (the remaining balance) 07 days before your trip.

By securing your spot and original price with a small deposit, you will only be required to pay the remaining balance seven(7) days before your trip. (please, be mindful, in case the remaining balance is not paid, your booking will be automatically cancelled and your initial deposit won't be refundable.) 

You will be receiving payment reminders via e-mail.

ITINERARY

###DAY 1: DECEMBER 28, 2024 - DEPARTURE FROM SYDNEY TO PORT MACQUARIE

- 7:00 AM: Depart from Sydney Central;
- 8:30 AM: Brief stop for breakfast and coffee (at own expense). Enjoy a quick bite at a local café;
- 11:30 AM: Arrive at Port Stephens;
- Lunch: Enjoy a leisurely lunch at Nelson Bay, with options for fresh seafood and local delicacies;
- Optional Activities: Choose from one of the following:
- Dolphin Cruise: Join the crew for a 1.5-hour tour to spot dolphins in their natural habitat (at your own expense);
- Hiking: Hike up Mount Tomaree for stunning panoramic views (free Guided activity);
- Late Afternoon: Depart for Port Macquarie;
- Evening: Check-in at your accommodation in Port Macquarie. (shared Room accommodation at Port Macquarie Backpackers);
- Riverside bars, cafes and restaurants all with live music, nightclubs, karaoke nights and open-mic nights.

### DAY 2: DECEMBER 29, 2024 - PORT MACQUARIE TO BYRON BAY

- Though you are welcome to explore local cafes around the area for your brekkie, we will provide you with free  breakfast at the hotel;
- 10:00 AM: Depart to The Billabong Zoo - Koala and Wildlife Park. (2 hours activity - Ticket Included);
- Lunch at The Big Banana - Coffs Harbour (own expense);
- Afternoon: Depart to Byron Bay;
- 5:00 PM: Arrive in Byron Bay;
- Check-in: Settle into your accommodation at YHA Byron Bay;
- Evening: Free time to explore Byron Bay’s eclectic shops, cafes, and art galleries. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, followed by a relaxing evening at your accommodation.

### DAY 3: DECEMBER 30, 2024 - FREE OPTIONAL DAY TRIP TO GOLD COAST (INCLUDED)

- 7:30 AM: Free continental breakfast at the hostel;
- 10:00 AM: Depart to Gold Coast (Free Trip);
- You can either join us for a day trip to Gold Coast and explore the wonders of Australia’s premier beach destination, shopping centers, theme parks, or stay in Byron Bay and get the most of it; 
- Lunch: Enjoy a meal at one of the beachfront cafes or restaurants (own expense);
- Evening: Return to Byron Bay around 8:00 PM;
- Dinner: Free evening to explore and dine in Byron Bay.

### DAY 4: DECEMBER 31, 2024 - NEW YEAR’S EVE IN BYRON BAY

- Morning: Enjoy a continental breakfast at the accommodation;
- Day Activities: Choose from a variety of optional activities available in town;
- Surf lessons for beginners;
- Stand-up paddle-boarding;
- Beach relaxation or swimming;
- Visit local markets or enjoy wellness activities such as yoga…;
- Evening: Get ready for New Year’s Eve Celebrations;
- Dinner: Enjoy a festive dinner at a local restaurant or join a New Year’s Eve party (reservations recommended);
- Midnight: Celebrate the New Year with fireworks and festivities on the beach!

### DAY 5: JANUARY 1, 2025 - FREE DAY IN BYRON BAY

- Morning: Sleep in and enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the accommodation;
- Day Activities: A free day to explore Byron Bay at your own pace and taste;
- Options include: visiting the Cape Byron Lighthouse for sunset views, enjoying spa treatments, or exploring the beautiful beaches around;
- Evening: Local dining experiences and nightlife await!

### DAY 6: JANUARY 2, 2025 - FREE DAY IN BYRON BAY

- Morning: Breakfast at the hostel;
- Day Activities: Continue to enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of Byron Bay;
- Join local activities or simply unwind on the beach;
- Evening: Join local events, live music, or enjoy another festive dinner.

### DAY 7: JANUARY 3, 2025 - RETURN TO SYDNEY

- 6:00 AM: Breakfast at the hostel;
- 7:30 AM: Departing from Byron Bay towards Sydney;
- Lunch Stop: Brief stop along the way (at own expense);
- Evening Arrival: Arrive back in Sydney, concluding your unforgettable New Year’s celebration tour.
